1. Clone disk from old drive to new drive using AOMEI - this tool can be run in windows OS
2. When cloning is complete mark proper partition as active before disconnecting the cloned HDD
3. insert drive into computer
4. insert windows repair disc and boot to windows repair disk, then run cmd prompt
5. in cmd prompt enter the following 3 commands
chkdsk /f /r
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
